i will say that your argument of it being as simple as making all armor massless doesnt work, the way armor works in this game is replacing your body parts entirely with the armor ones, meaning the armor parts are your real body parts
when you make a character massless on roblox your movement becomes slippery and floaty and generally feels bad and off, so toggling armor massless doesnt work
the solution in most cases would be to use customphysicalproperties to ensure all armor parts have the same density as the base body instead of being affected by the parts material
idk how swimming in ao works so theres a lot of ways swimming could be changed to take more precedence over character weight and fix it, i dont think vetex has ignored this bug because its a tough fix though i think he just doesnt care because it only affects oracle robes and marauders jacket
