Please help idk King Caesar's armor (all goods, now im doing the background)

Ok, so i’m just trying to make art, (im no artist) buti really don’t know how King Caesar’s Armor looks like, i did take on several references like:

and even Sauron from Lord of the Rings

But i still really need help about the looks and origins of the armor and lore stuff.

Edit: Is he suppose to be a zombie like corpse or a spirit or a skeleton?
And I wanted to add like his magic attack and all, but i need info about that

Like Octo said already, helmet has a gash on the left cheek plate (likely from a slash wound), otherwise it’s mainly superficial damage like the sand ruining most of the armor’s finish.

how’s the flesh past the chainmail, unless it degraded and fell out?

i think its not through the chainmail, more like through the gaps in the breastplate.

Edit: Actually maybe it is through the chainmail, i mean usually there would be leather but the leather is probably rotten too so it just seeps out.
