2. Did I say that I care about if the effects were good or bad at all? Most of the critiques I have about this specific video itself is how it doesn’t do the game content justice. I said the fears of his viewership were expressed in other playerbases. Doubt you even know what you’re arguing about at this point

Any and all exposure is good exposure, so they say.

AO is a game that requires a lot of dedication, it’s hard to tell if Tankfish’ video has any real impact on the playerbase for a while here, at least until the second video. Plus, AO had a LOT of players day 1. Likely many of them were Tankfish viewers who already formed an opinion on the game.

In the case of Arcane Odyssey, I find his video to be both misleading and beneficial in a way. I think the fact that he skips all the dialogue is an insult to the amount of creativity and effort Vetex put into the storyline

Skipping dialogue is not as uncommon as you think. Of my 5 player friendgroup who got into the game day 1, only 2 of us bothered to read the story, and in my case I am a writer who loves absorbing all types of fiction to better myself, not everyone really has that drive.

To directly quote one of my friends “If I cannot skip dialouge in the game, then I don’t play the game. I only care about actually playing the game, nothing else. If I like the game, maybe I’ll go back and read the story.”

Ao Players with uncreative names is like peanut butter with jelly- it’s just natural. I am pretty sure Walter White has appeared more in my AO playthrough then he has in his own f***ing show.

I was unironically disappointed by the lack of even a call to arms from the Chaos Legion, because this really feels like a missed opportunity. There was something devilishly fun about just recreating the USSR in a game for a bit. Then again, I can’t help but feel like Tankfish was sort of disinterested in the game, as he came off as calm and gave Vetex a mildly heart attack by skipping a shit ton of mechanics and stuff. Then again, he’s willing to play anything.

Also the fact he only used a rowboat was fucking hilarious.

knowing the attention span of the average roblox player this is not even a threat in the slightest
