Pure stat builds vs hybrid stat builds

They will probably be balanced but which one do you think will be more fun, better in PVP, better in PvE, etc

  • Pure stat builds
  • Hybrid stat builds

pure stat builds seem better because they just focus on one thing while hybrids need to focus on two

savant might be really good but the amount of shit you have on makes you freeze your brain trying to decide

this will be true before awakenings but after that the scaling change should make them equal. Assuming that conjurer for example scales equally from both magic and weapons the weapon skills should do the same damage as a pure warrior because they have the same amount of stats

I personally think that pure builds are boring, and for combat some (not all) hybrids are better because they have close and long ranged attacks.

I don’t really like savant because I don’t need 4 different means of combat, and on top of that they can’t combine combat types.

you can have just 3, and they technically can combine stuff if they get the right awakenings

my guess is that hybrid builds have more options and will be better in the hands of skilled players but im not great at pvp and dont see myself using 2 types of attacks at once

I still don’t like savant because I wouldn’t want more than 2 means of combat.

we already know fighting styles can be imbued on weapons and so can magics imagine is savant could do both at the same time that would make it a lot more popular

So what you are suggesting is magic infused weapons that are infused with a fighting style?

No idea how it would work but it would be fun right now i think savant is the least popular build

a pure build would be good for absolute efficiency but i think hybrids might be more enjoyable to use and more diverse, which could make it good for pvp too

not really, just make sure you have the right stat build to get the awakening you want and then switch later
