Hey so, bad news about sensing aura.
Pretty much all humanoids get aura given to them by default, which includes corpses (Tucker, citizens of port Mistral) and statues (Theos, pretty sure)

I agree it’s pretty bad. Like we’re going back to Ravena after nimbus but since we have the flag it’s nothing major. Likely just picking up nivero ![]()
I don’t believe we been told you can hide sensing in lore yet (which I can believe will exist but we have no proof) though there are ways to lower the range which you can but again, point blank. Also missing with light magic against running foes is bad. It’s not like it was a bad hit but a COMPLETE wiff to the roofs
I think it was a legitimate attempt to hit them, especially considering where Callahan was at when he made that shot.
The distraction of the two stabbing victims and heading into a populated city may have helped them get away. Do invisibility potions help hide sensing?
This is also my issue with sensing being so available in media. If it’s a super easy and accessible stealth should be nigh impossible, boring. But if there’s a lot of ways or easy ways to hide from it then what’s the point. I tend to only like it as a niche ability but I think hxh does it amazingly
I don’t believe invisibility helps and he’s a trained guard for situations such at these. Making such complete utter whiff is truly unacceptable. Hitting/grazing them would be fine
Unless he purposely missed of course
it’s explained that you can lower your perceived aura in the book of athena
