Why cant fire magic users make their normal boring fire go BLUE with pure heat power?
by making their flames go hot enough to change its color to blue fire mages could create a budget inferno magic, so why dont they?
If it is because Fire magic is just magical energy pretending to be fire, then why couldnt Rupin turn his fire curse into Budget Inferno Curse?
They cant control, but i fucking bet they can increase the heat, if they couldnt their grownth would be extremely limited in places where mutations arent a thing, like in the war seas’ sea cluster
they were in aa, but in ao the mutations j became lost magic or whtvr. im not sure if theres a difference in the way the seven seas and the war seas developed their magic, but i imagine its probably pretty similar.
at least i think lol, IDK there might be some character in AO who mutated rather than discovered a lost magic that im unaware of.
i would imagine they can control the heat, it just also lowers the strength of other facets, as canonically magic users can control the output they put into their attacks (or else the lore would be drastically different as any and all magic usage by a strong mage would cause massive amounts of unintended damage), it’s even shown through stuff like the AA theos fight where he was only using part of his power.
yeah, but if they wanted they still could do it, and if it is because of “i dont want to harm the enviroment” Rupin could still use it, since he is a god damn psychopath
i think it comes down to the aesthetic distinction between fire magic and inferno magic rather than an inbuilt lore reason, if fire mages used blue fire then inferno magic would be a lot less visually distinct.
Probably just not controllable to that degree, the Flame curse did it in Online Fighting but it could be retconned.
Since fire magic isn’t killing people from heat but mainly just “magic energy” it’s entirely possible that some god tier character’s fire is the same heat as a crazy wizard but just way stronger
The problem on knowing about how magic attacks work is that Vetex never originaly wrote something telling us the perspective of how it feels to use and get hit by magic, but i still think it is not possible that the fires are the same, as getting a lot of fire in the same place would probably make it a lot hotter, specialy when making it very dense
Based on how magics in AO affect temperature it’s safe to say that magics do feel similar to what they’re mimicking.
Also you’re looking at it in a physics way when this is a lego game’s magic system with only a slight bit of detail on how it is and it’s just “magic energy simple”
