Ok it might not be all bad but it doesn’t exactly take alot of people to screw up new player’s early game experience.
All you need to make a rancid server is one group of same-guild members infamy grinding level 40s.

Holy shit.
How. Is this. Still. Continuing.
You made it to 300 replies, congratulations.
the biggest thing screwing over new players is how boring levelling is.
once again you can just leave and join a new server if you get rk’d over and over. nothing’s stopping you from doing that, idk why you would stay and take it lol
Mimhere, please do understand that forcing players to switch servers is not a good thing.
All of my experiences with random killing has been bad. It’s either “git gud”, “Ez”, “Trash”, or they say absolutely nothing while killing me over and over. I get it, WoM is not a safe world. I’m fine with being attacked because I know pvp is a large part of the game. That doesn’t mean I have to be an asshat to every player I come across just because I feel like it or cause I can, what kind of shit is that.
Yes please, it’d be great if the rking part of the community could atleast be decent human beings.
is this not what happens in every game with pvp? you always have that player/group spawnkilling players over and over
for example arsenal or phantom forces. if you keep getting killed the moment you spawn by a good player then you leave and join a new server so you can actually play.
Lemme tell you what phantom forces and arsenal have that’s fundamentally different from WoM.
They are games centered around literally nothing but pvp, of course its going to be like that there.
That’s the entire game.
this is still happening-
yes it is.
that wasn’t the point i was making though? i was saying if you get spawnkilled over and over in any game then you leave and join a new server. this happens in every game with pvp lmao
Yes but please do put it into perspective.
Lets say you’re a new level 40 trying to get through some story quests when out of nowhere this level 100 shows up “Ultimate Art: Nuclear Missile” and vaporizes you every time you get close to your quest objective because they want guild infamy.
Does that sound like a good game experience that early on? Does that not sound like a great way to drive people away from the game?
But the PvP requirement will be 50 by then, so at least they’ll have magic jumps to use to escape.
considering the ‘low level protection law’ I kinda doubt the pvp requirement is going to stay at 50% max level forever or even much longer.
Even if that were the case, lets say you’re a level 2500 and suddenly a level 5000 pops up and erases you with a nigh undodgable 100% blast.
The PvP level will likely always be 50.
Also, I doubt that the difference between a level 2500 and 5000 is enormous, considering it is only a single wizard rank difference. A level 5000 with meh gear could be worse than a level 2500 with a bunch of lost spells and legendary/exotic gear.
Exotic is this games version of epic rarity right? (just checking)
My main point here anyways is that the game shouldn’t actively incentivize RKing players, and especially not new players (as the current infamy system seems to be).
This will do literally nothing but make the community more toxic and drive new players away from the game.
I mean cmon, what Demon rep level 5000 is going to care about a low level protection law?
this argument is zzz at this point, it’s pointless.
people that enjoy rk’ing will rk. people that don’t will continue complaining.
if you hate it so much make a suggestion to change how pvp works. if it gets declined go play another game and stop complaining cus everyone’s fed up of hearing it.
Mhm. Anyone here can take a shot at a suggestion to have guild infamy earned in the arena rather than anywhere so that RKing would be less incentivized.
does anyone have robu
