shame it’s account wide because I know my files are going to vary wildly in PvP effectiveness lol

as soon as I get a working pc im going to use this so much
I think the file-wide ELO thing encourages you to see if you’re capable of using different kinds of builds and being good at more than one of them
Yeah I think thats probably the idea and I’m quite fine with it (despite only my Knight and Oracle having builds that are PvP viable).
There also isn’t too much of a difference between classes, so most people should be fine assuming their gear is adequate between files.
I really hope 2v2s and 3v3s will be added so you can grind elo with your friends

I hope we won’t be limited by our wealth in this arena. Having access to every piece of high-level gear in the game, or having gamemodes that allow for preset armorsets/no armor at all would be nice. The main issue with PVP is how gear trumps skill, after all, and circumventing that might make it more convienent for new players to ease into the scene.
