A scroll with instructions on how to use the spell “Trail”. It reads, “Trail - Dash forwards and spread your magic below you”
Magic stat level: 95
More Information:
About the same movement capibilities as crash, but targetted at hitting enemies below instead of infront.
For solid magics, it shoots a continuous stream of priojectiles.
For other magics, it shoots a continuous beam.
Good for magics that leave hazards behind, e.g. Glass, Acid, Magma
Changeable variables:
Length (more length = more distance but less dmg)
Size (more size = less dmg)
Type (choose between beam and blast)
While I love the extra mobility, I feel like the offensive aspect of the spell is completely negated if your opponent is sentient. On top of the stat requirement being weird and too low, this sounds much too similar to second dodge reflex for Vetex to add it imo (yes I do know we have movement abilities that can be used in the air, but none quite straight forward as this)
also like, no offense, but let’s normalise good suggestion structure
So its going to hit people.
I feel like this could instead be reworked into a passive spell, sort of like how in the old lost spell list there was a passive spell that allowed you to create weak explosions around you while you charged up (now flaunting)
could be a good idea
