Wouldn’t this mean you’d overall get less galleons cause you’re digging it up faster?
Or are you getting more galleons on average or a higher range so you’d get more

i think most of us are just confused about what ‘end of the year’ means
Exactly. He said the end of the year. Doesn’t that mean that he will release AO precisely on June 17th? I think it does. I’m going to come back here on June 17th and will start malding to Vetex if it is not released. In MY delusional world where I am a complete idiot and cannot read what he sayd, June 17th is the end of the year. Can’t wait for AO to be released June 17th now!
End of the year is the last quarter…
There are three four different quarters, for 3 months
Beginning of the year (1st quarter): January-AprilMarch
Middle of the year/middle of 2022 (2nd quarter): May-August April-June
End of the year/late 2022 (3rd last quarter) September-December July-September
End of the year/late [year] (4th quarter) October-December
That’s not how quarters work, you mean thirds?
I think actual quarters is better distribution for that
First quarter: January - march
Half of year: April - June
Third quarter: July - September
End of year: October- December
Or maybe by month, much more simple.
Start of year: January
End of year: December
I know quarters don’t work like that, that’s just what they’re called
Thirds
You would hate my first experience on SoT
Ty guys for proving my 2nd statement
it would be so intimidating to see a white eyes health bar while you are watching a cutscene
I know I’ll probably get a stereotypical insult but I feel like if you keep on pushing fighting styles back for useless things like treasure charts, you’ll probably procrastinate till launch and not get enough time to balance. Like diving spots and charts are cool but those can be added in a later update vs an entire stat and combat type
That is a pretty good point, it could slow development down if all the draining tasks like pvp and balancing are pushed towards the end. That might be what the early access is for, to figure out pvp balancing easier before free release
I feel like placing it at the end makes sense for him to do though; he’s talked about how combat and balancing puts him into a slump, so I can see why he’d work on some lesser things and churn them out faster instead of risking developer’s block
