one thing to note is that all 3 share the same hull slot, so there could be different kinds of hulls
trim might more focused on speed or maneuverability and not as much health, while framing might be focused on health while affecting speed.

my prediction is that depending on the ship, you’d either use parts that add to its strengths or help to make up for its weaknesses, and not much in between
(obv though we know absolutely nothing about ship parts other than their name and slot so its a bit early to make predictions)
Or alternatively… you could just find cool things and put them on your ship. In this circumstance that’s definitely a problem with how someone thinks about the loot one gets.
why would i make it so that you need a million artifacts and hours of farming to be able to have fun… ship customization/builds are purely for making your ship better than it already is, if you don’t want to do that that’s fine but don’t cry when someone who actually plays the game sinks your ship easily.
