i really do not want to use snipping tool
“Added additional visuals to aura spells”
Sound interesting, I wonder if it has more extra effects depending on your magic?

That’ll most likely be apart of the individual magic revamps

Just checked and that was the update of the day.
I wonder how improved the sounds are vs WoM’s destruction sounds…

ONE FOR THREE :niceman:

Well it’s not completely confirmed to be the Order boss, but it’s a very likely imo

Do you think it’s the order boss?
  • It’s the Baron from The Order
  • It’s not the Baron from The Order

Extra poll

How does the Fort Talos boss fight?
  • Mainly magic
  • Mainly weapons

I mean we can only guess

I doubt vetex will say if its the Baron or not

It’s the boss of a fort, I mean I hope he uses weapons, that would be cooler than just magic.

Fighting styles haven’t been developed for players but that doesn’t rule out the idea that a boss might have abilities akin to fighting styles, considering they’re all made for the boss and not just copied from a move list (or at least That’s what I’ve taken from the language used in patch notes). Not saying that this guy will have them just, not to ignore the possibility.

True, iris does have lost magic after all (I’d edit the poll but 5 minute limit)

I feel like a new magic (the magic combat system is already made) is much different from Fighting Styles which hasn’t been touched at all, maybe the boss will be planned to have it but won’t use it until vetex makes it (like some hostile ship npcs)

The about vetex developing fstyles very close to the end of development is that this leaves the dot ye with little to no bosses and even story npcs that use f styles.
Of course npc ships and structures exist but those would just be thrown into the many ways random npcs can attack.
The other problem is that if he decided to change if a couple story npcs/bosses used fstyles instead of what they had, he would effectively have to remake the entire fight(if it was a boss) or fix any bugs that occur with fighting said npcs

Yeah that’s my thought, there would be like no major early game representation of fighting styles, ignoring stock respawning npcs that will obviously have the ability to use them

It’ll work out sooner or later
