I doubt vetex will say if its the Baron or not
Itâs the boss of a fort, I mean I hope he uses weapons, that would be cooler than just magic.
Fighting styles havenât been developed for players but that doesnât rule out the idea that a boss might have abilities akin to fighting styles, considering theyâre all made for the boss and not just copied from a move list (or at least Thatâs what Iâve taken from the language used in patch notes). Not saying that this guy will have them just, not to ignore the possibility.
True, iris does have lost magic after all (Iâd edit the poll but 5 minute limit)
I feel like a new magic (the magic combat system is already made) is much different from Fighting Styles which hasnât been touched at all, maybe the boss will be planned to have it but wonât use it until vetex makes it (like some hostile ship npcs)
The about vetex developing fstyles very close to the end of development is that this leaves the dot ye with little to no bosses and even story npcs that use f styles.
Of course npc ships and structures exist but those would just be thrown into the many ways random npcs can attack.
The other problem is that if he decided to change if a couple story npcs/bosses used fstyles instead of what they had, he would effectively have to remake the entire fight(if it was a boss) or fix any bugs that occur with fighting said npcs
Yeah thatâs my thought, there would be like no major early game representation of fighting styles, ignoring stock respawning npcs that will obviously have the ability to use them
