Basically, every class has specific gear except for weapons. The problem is, the sets I thought up originally already exist in the game!

Now, the sets would scale with weapons like how the oracle sets scale with spirit (idk what formula they use but just that with weapons).

Currently, both sets just have 3 pieces (pants, chest, 1 accessory) when most class gear sets come with 5. So here’s my finalized proposed changes:

Ronin Set (Rework of the original Samurai Set) (Same stat scaling as fire arcmancer)

  1. Ronin Robes (Chestplate) - 31 power, reworked visually to actually be a robe with a bit of the upper chest exposed
  2. Ronin Pants (Leggings) - 23 power, flowing pants with straw sandals
  3. Ronin Straw Hat (Hat accessory) - 23 power, just the samurai straw hat but renamed and different stats
  4. Ronin Cape (Shoulder Accessory) - 23 power, A flowing cape (would have the physics that the devs planned to add at some point
  5. Ronin Sash (Waist Accessory) - 23 power, A sash wrapped around the waist with a charm attached.
    Potential reference-

Samurai Set (Reworked Samurai Armor Set)

  1. Samurai Chestplate (Chestplate) - 279 defense, same appearance as the one in-game
  2. Samurai Boots (Leggings) - 207 defense, same appearance as the one in-game
  3. Samurai Kabuto (Helmet Accessory) - 207 defense, same appearance as the Samurai Helmet in-game.
  4. Oni Mask (Face Accessory) - 207 defense, just.. an oni mask.
  5. Torn Sashimono (Back Accessory) - 207 defense, a torn banner on the characters back
    Potential Reference-

This gives warriors/weapon classes some great gear to use as well as revamping these existing sets for the Ryujin Dynasty.

I do wish that weapons can have their own type of class specific armors.

did vetex shoot down the idea of weapon exclusive armors or something

probably, strength is similar to arcanium for “types”, and spirit makes sense since the more spirit you have it’d probably strengthen obviously-enchanted armor, but what’s the most plausible way for weapon armor

Yeah basically

I mean it could always be armor that “pairs” with the weapons you’re using, my personal idea was a sort of Templar armor for a set of weapons, a samurai set for a set of weapons, and a “ranger/hinter/assassin” set of armor for a set of weapons. And they’d each of some distraction of stats, and the way you’d get the stats is if you had x amount of each weapon. Basically smth along the lines of if you had 1 weapon out of a set you’d get 60% of the stats, 2 would be 95% and 3 would be 110% (or something like that)
