Should WOM make Magic Council Captain spawns more rare?

It’s pretty unfair that a Magic Council Captain spawns in right after your bounty reaches a bit high. Then again, it’s something to keep you from going out of control.

Nah, magic council soldiers are somewhat easy to fight off, having a Captain brings a challenge. Plus, you could get a super high bounty without encountering a Captain once, and that wouldn’t exactly be fair.
I’ve actually killed one of the captain’s before, so :man_shrugging:

Currently captains spawn once your bounty hits 200, and frankly, thats yeah a little extreme
changing it to 300/400/500 bounty for captains would be fine

well you ARE supposed to be on the run nearly constantly as a villain, not just some guy killing hordes of soldiers with no problem.

No level of fear, the challenge is to run for your life, then use the environment to turn the tables, Ive killed 4 that way. I wait for them to do a close range burst and use a high damage attack a few times and there down.

well i found 1 new-miniboss lvl 117 and its not same level but you know, its probably hard to resist and maybe someone go villian not knowing of the consequences.

200? I think for me they spawn at 500+

not gonna lie it’s not the captain spawn that should be decreased, it should be the amount of bounty gained per kill that should, seeing as you can turn an entire city into a meat grinder at the moment.

Yea, I feel like bounty adds up wayyy too fast. Killing a few NPCs or opening a few private storage can get multiple captains on you before you know it.

I think they should be more rare until you hit 1000 bounty (which hasn’t been added yet) I feel like the Captains would have better things to do than to hunt down somebody worth 300 crowns.

Maybe a system of which the captains will spawn more on the highest bounty person. So new criminals won’t receive that many captains

Maybe low level scouts will spawn on low level criminals and higher level MC should spawn on higher level criminals

When vetex accepts my idea of magic council ranking, i think players with captain+ rank will be the hunters instead of a fleet.

I think if Vetex increased how much bounty it would take to spawn a captain it would be fine.

Loreing had a pretty good idea but hes banned

I think we need a few ranks of soldiers between captain and scout.
The jump from one to another is literally going from basic enemy to boss.

I don’t really think we need more in-between ranks, just raise the bounty required for a captain to spawn to 500. Also, I think it would be good if captains only spawn after like the third wave of spawns, that way if the criminal persists against the magic council only then is the captain alerted. Just gotta be careful that the criminal can’t get all the private storages and then just leave before any real challenge.

What might also be a cool concept is raising the amount of security in a town (bounty hunters, MC guards, etc.) if it constantly gets raided based on the server, but that could get unbalanced or abused pretty easily.
