Skill / Attack Range Adjustment for the Dragons Update

Hello, I’m proposing for the range stat to be adjusted or changed to a state which it doesn’t completely cancel out the damage you do to enemies, mobs that are beyond your range.

I believe that it would make much more sense if the damage you do is reduced the further it goes, it’s current state basically makes fights with stronger dragons impossible to beat.
You have to get too close to those dragons and what happens next will surprise you…. you get one shotted.

Applying this change would also make sense if we think logically. Magic energy is probably something that dissipates ( gradually disappears and/or scatters )
So, a dmg reduction would make much more sense instead of our hits not registering.

I feel like dragons shouldn’t one shot to begin with. Like, brother, I get it’s level 900, but you’re saying a sneeze from an ancient dragon can destroy an entire city? Seriously? Anyways, this would be a great thing to have for any class as it would give people a chance to better stand up to these dragons. The only class that would absolutely suffer still is berserker, since they’re basically a purely melee class.

We are level 175, why are you expecting to survive a hit from their magically boosted attacks?

though at the same time it also seems some attacks have a lil bug (stone skin full grown corrupted dragon had it’s jump/stomp attack hurt me 3 times despite only doing it once, if it worked properly i would have lived with abt a 3rd of my health)

I advise you to see the sneeze of a mythical dragon. ( died to one today )

I’m talking when you have Ironskin V and are blocking with 4000 health, you still get one shot. THAT is the kind of BS I’m talking about

why would they designed to be difficult skill wise when we can just give them a ton of hp and a ton of damage?

Literally the omen but if he was an extreme threat to the player themself moreso the ship

still

nearly 5 times our level ontop of having a better magic than us and designed to be a boss fight/more powerful than the average enemy of that same level by a lot

They are endgame, possibly even post game threats while we are still essentially in the early game compared to what some of the previous max level predictions would be like (level 1k, then the prediction got lowered to 600)

We will have legendary gear, (omen gear is still a tier below that with the best defense currently available, imagin how op a legendary item could be for us at our current levels) legendary relics, ancient stuff, it makes no sense for us to even be close to fighting these things yet, but ppl already do find ways to fight things that we are Severely under leveled for

if anything we should be asking why they were added in the first place (especially considering mythical and dragon lords are intended to be literally impossible for our current level)

Even with all of this, one thing that would stump a coughing baby all the way to an endgame and post-game player, is lag. Right now, it is just insane how laggy these fights are even with adolescent and full-grown dragons, which makes it almost impossible to fight them even if you had that kind of gear and levels.

yeah, lag is bad, + the fact that for some reason we need to be unreasonably close to the higher end dragons just to deal damage

though i can still solo up to adult (despite the lag almost killing me multiple times)

For me and my raiding party, it was the reason that 50% of some higher tier dragon raids ended in failure. It was so bad that we literally CRASHED as an entire party.

so nerf dragons in such a way that berserkers are still screwed over

mimimi its endgame u arent suppouse to kill dragons u need to wait 9 years more to fight them

vetex added that so u cannot cheese them with blast 20% arrow with 9999 range from far away so.. poop

Are you fkn serious

that wasn’t even the point i was trying to get across to that guy, they kept trying to say how these crazy high level things should not have the ability to one shot them at level 175

tbh this is vetex fault for adding endgame content at level 175

the player will always try to get everything bc that is why they are playing the game duh

we cant even fight them in the place we are supposed to fight them tho

My main file has barely any range. almost 0 range (all of it comes from the kraken band)
Vetex made that range punishment too harsh (and powerful+ dragons basically need me within their melee attack zone just to hurt)
