Just remove the RNG element for the spells.
That’s it, that’s the entire suggestion, I don’t wanna gamble 20 times to get beam and explosion or blast and snare

Well, actually, there’s another.

Why not make exclusive magic attacks for them, so they feel more worth it to use? Like, if they ONLY have blast, snare, explosion, etc, these are ALL base spells, we can already use these, and will more than most likely have our magic in our first slot.

Which, you know, HAS these spells. Conj can use most if not all of these, especially with the updates adding higher level caps.

And even then, thanks to imbuement, we can pretty much use weapon versions of these spells, so none of them have any relevance. Blast? Any weapon throw. Beam? Guns and piercing shot. or Bows. Explosion? there’s SEVERAL AOE moves. Snare? ANY grab attack.

And I don’t mean “MAKE FIVE HUNDRED EXCLUSIVE MOVES FOR EVERY WEAPON!!!”, I mean just like, four or five, give us a cool one with axes where we slam it into the ground and make a pillar version of aftershock, or a spinning sawblade-esque projectile for swords.

Hell, I’d be happy with it being like, a horizontal slash version of blast, or a watered down version of the slash scroll in general.

I get it, Vetex doesn’t want to change them too drastically, but I feel like we need a better reason to use them.

they literally made weapons that are only good for mages, since conjurers cant even use much higher then basic spells which are the only things on the weapons
