so first thing is a “auto refill supplies/food option”, when you press this button a slider will pop up and ask how low do you want the food/supplies to be before it auto refills (so lets say that if food or supplies reach 60% it just auto refill if you have the drachma amount on hand)
can prob do the same thing for power but when it reaches the desired power %, it puts all the command ships on restore task (you put 3 on trading and when power hits 55% they all get put on rest and u gotta manually put em back on what task u want next)
for the 2nd suggestion its a auto sell item option for the fleet tasks, rather than get all the junk most of the tasks give you can tell to crew to auto sell specific items. a big list would appear with all the possible rewards from the task and you just click on the item for a big X to appear so the crew auto sells that item
-for exploration you get a list of basically every item in the game (huge ass list) and you tell them what items to sell (you cant specify what modifier it has btw its either all or nothing + you cant sell the sealed chests)
-for fishing you get a list of every fish (honestly you can skip this one)
-patrol/plunder stays the same
-harvesting you get a list of all possible reagents so you can tell the crew what to auto sell
-conquest you get a list of all the possible items so you can X out the items to auto sell (cant sell sealed chests)
-trading you get a list of possible items so you can X out the items to auto sell
kinda repetitive but you get the gist of what im saying here, btw all items auto sold will go for what the npc shop owners will buy it at NOT the trading value
While there is some thought behind this suggestion, fleets are already too powerful as they are and one of their main issues is that they can run with little to no effort
plus almost everyone I’ve met doesn’t like fleets because of certain aspects unless they have a gigantic fleet with 6000 or more followers where they sit there afking for money all day
1 problem with the fleet even with 8k followers is that most of the tasks are useless as hell
exploration is just inventory clutter
fishing is fishing
harvesting can get good stuff but most of it is just cheap items you dont use often + sell cause its gonna take time (so you end up net negative)
conquest got nerfed to shit but can be useful
trading is goated af
not much of a adding potion to food guy, but ik that the big 5x meals with potions can be useful (especially when you make a lvl 3 potion go to lvl 4 with sun carraways, luck 3 → luck 4 goated btw)
the good potions for fighting dragons however are better separate vs cooked in food (since food timer can outlast potion timer and you end up having to tide potion every meal and lose other potential potion effects aka warding4/5 splash)
Auto-refilling is what I imagined “Minimize Risk” setting does. There gonna be issues when the drachma you have isn’t enough. Does it just repair how much it can while getting your cash to 0? Does it just not activate at all? Does it put you in debt? And why can’t we just set it to activate every 20 minutes to sync it with the fleet loot gain?
Nah, thats too complicated.
Thats gonna take a lot of coding. And why would you be selling those things? You get enough money from fleets anyway, an you never know when those items can get useful. As a hoarder, I don’t respect such feature.
min risk is awful and you just end up losing more money than just refilling the fleet yourself (tested this with 2 trading on min risk vs max profit, you just get 0 cash and you still lose supplies + ships take damage)
auto selling the stuff you dont want/need adds a bit of profit to the fleet report. you can just sell all the items manually but its gonna take time (expecially if you got 9mil rare cannonballs each and 100k+ of herbs and spices + all the other crap). trading gives ~30k+ drachma per ship but in actuality it gives more if you sold all the cannonballs, spices and rare enchants you gain (only issue is just selling it manually since everyone is just gonna let it stack up since they arent gonna go to a npc shop every 20min)
also the only item you really would want from exploration task is just modified fair amulets + sealed chests, everything else is just inventory clutter and is better just auto sold and put in the profit part of the fleet report so you can repair and refill supplies easier and see some profit from it vs exploration just being a waste of time and money
on max risk patrol/plunder gives supplies and money (1 plunder + 1 non plunder task + 2 rest = long time until your forced to manually refill supplies but you slightly lose power over time)
the plunder task pays for its repair costs but doesnt give nearly as much as trading task (roughly 15k after repairs and supplies per ship)
i could just put on 2 plunder if my fleet gets low on supplies after 2 trading but its just better to pay for supplies rather than wait for the plunder to refill it (2 trading gains power so you can swap back and forth with 2 trading and 2 plundering depending on fleet power)
my normal game plan is 2 trading + 2 rest and when power is like 90% i go 3 trading + 1 rest until like 59% power then i swap back to 2 trade + 2 rest (all on max risk)
constantly checking my fleet whenever im not fighting a boss/dragon (even then i still check on my fleet when im blocking the magic barrage + repair/resupply on before every dragon fight)
even tho ik the auto sell stuff aint gonna happen, the auto refill supplies/food option would save peoples fleets and take a burden off their shoulders of having to constantly check on it (brigs have so much durability that your more likely to lose it to deserting vs it sinking)
