Magnificently peaceful as it starts… Before it unnervingly speeds up (personal issue with a lot of waltz music; it feels weird to me when they jump in speed) but that just builds up for the finish which is perfectly executed.
I guess no sailor can have a peaceful night after all, can they?
thank you!! i also agree with the waltz speeding up thing, I wanted to try to make it subtle but I have no good way to control the accelerando rate in musescore … I’m really glad you enjoyed it though!
people have been saying that since i started posting here my freshman year of highschool- heading into senior year now and I have not heard a word from anyone so don’t expect too much hehe. i don’t think my music would fit the vibe of the game very well anyway since most of the other tracks in ao are in a completely different soundfont
neat orchestral piece with some mysterious forest vibe I’d add a little bit of base to make it sounds fuller like cello or something. But it’s up to the preference of whether one wants to make a quieter, calmer music
thank you! I decided against adding a drone just because too much legato especially in a waltz drove me insane, and it would dilute the texture of the harmonies. I’ll mess around more with drone notes in the future though hehe
Ever since I heard valtz blue danube, the speed up thing in waltz became a requirement.
You’ve cooked well on this one it is nice and calm and most importantly joyful.
