An opinion of mine
- Spell & technique customization at its basis is changing size and damage adjustment
- Speed can’t really be adjusted unless using shapes and embodiments
- And shapes and embodiments can only be applied to a very few numbers of spells and techniques
- Also, size and damage adjustment are mutually exclusive you can only do high damage with small attack
- And you can only do big attacks with low damage
My suggestion
- New sliders for customizing spells
- Instead of the size slider adjusting damage and size
- There are new sliders
- The Power Slider: Adjusts damage
- The Size Slider: Adjusts size
- The Dexterity Slider: Adjusts start up and end lag
- The Range Slider: adjust range
- Now as opposed to the size slider adjusting size and damage you can freely adjust any one of these sliders
- Then lets say you have a limited amount of percentage that’s shared across all sliders
- So now the more you increase one slider the less you can increase another
- So now for example you can have a spell/technique with high size and power but in return the range and dexterity are abysmal
- I think it could help give more spell customization options
Why id probably say no to this
- It would be a nightmare to balance
- it would probably change the meta dramatically
- It could probably get in the way of the recent global down scaling changes
- It would probably be unfair for weapon and spirit users not having advanced rite and skill customisation
- I only really suggested this cause i was bored
