Gonna be honest, ever since I returned to the Forums, ever since “they who shall not be named” has been chased off the Forums, it does feel weirdly hostile. Like, you feel judged and feel aggressive.
I even made a toxic post about being Renown Hunted by somebody before realizing how needless it was. The Forums feel a lot different than before, with the only good things remaining being the Artists (such as Ghostly), whom I can personally thank for brightening my active AO days with splendid and stellar art.

Make sure you post in the #arcane odyssey tag or I probably won’t see it, that’s where I usually look

its just a part of every online community at this point; drama and conflicts everywhere
this is just a warzone lol
I never sat right with worrying about myself more than others because really all I want in the end is for my friends and others around me to just chill
I can’t really chill out if I’m being surrounded by constant stressors and fights happening
some people would say “you shouldn’t care it’s not your responsibility to help them” but helping is literally the bare minimum you can do as a friend and I don’t want to be a complete apathetic jerk
and maybe I’m not one to complain because I admit I wasn’t the greatest person at some point while I was in this community and I hurt people I cherished
I don’t know how to deem myself allowed or not to express my exhaustion even if I took accountability and tried to apologize
because people tend to have a black and white way of deciding what makes someone a good person or not
that’s also part of the reason why so many people here having falling outs I find
a lot of artists and other big people in this community (some of which I was aqquainted with a bit) turned out to be sour
I love AO, I love the friends I met in the community, but I don’t want to stay in a place that I can only associate with bad memories
