Does He Know?
I just played AO a few days ago and learned this.
ban everyone very coolio
He had a vision…
un healable damage so basically it works like the thing from the story where you get a temporary health loss but its permant and the only way to heal it is by going to a doctor in a town or have a bandage to heal it by like 5% the health drop would be like 30%
add skins and rng and magic color crates or whatever RnG slop
Dizziness
Dizziness is inflicted by moving around too much as well as performing actions that would realistically cause it, such as being spun around (i.e. rotating via WASD or using spin animations for skills) or standing on a ship. The duration and intensity of the effect scales with the frequency and intensity of your movement as well as a sensitivity attribute that varies from mild to extreme when creating a new file.
Dizziness causes your character and the camera to sway and tilt around randomly, offsetting your movement and accuracy. At higher levels of dizziness your character has a chance to faint, collapsing to the ground, disabling all actions and turning the screen to black, the duration of which scales off of the intensity of the effect. Your character may vomit at high levels of dizziness or after recovering from a faint, temporarily reducing their max energy.
The only way to cure Dizziness is to limit movement and avoid sources of it as well as sleep, a new mechanic that’s tied to your energy and stamina. Dizziness does not wear off when dying or leaving the game, and cannot be removed via any other means. Recovering from a faint also cannot be sped up through the aforementioned methods.
Aerial atlanteans
On occasion in the dark sea, a atlantean skyship will fly towards you and drop atlanteans on you. The amount and strength of atlanteans depends on the range, going from 3 atlanteans all the way up to 15 in range 5. These atlanteans will be slightly more mutated with the mutation causing some kind of magic explosion on impact and on death.
Defeating the atlanteans will cause the skyship to drop down, blowing up where it lands and leaving behind a few sealed chests (just the normal dark sea ones). The skyship crashing on you will also kill you because realism
jeez man, calm down not that far ![]()
Suggest a new feature that will get you violated and killed
Players can now actively choose whether or not they want to participate in global PvP by toggling it off
Not a bad or undesirable change by any means, it’s just that those against it are usually quite… Animalistic
make armor break permanent and the armor is genuinely gone once it breaks, alongside its gems and enchant.
add realistic injuries and the time to heal actually like irl weeks or months. that debuff the player significantly.
add grand navy sky ships, so they can still track you down at cirrus or skyhall.
make it so everytime your ship sinks you have to buy a new brig / caravel / ketch whatever each time. everything that was attached to it was gone aswell. gotta add the realism.
make it so as a fame player and especially grand navy. theres a tax (tax bracket aswell) the higher the rank the bigger the tax.
as a grand navy player. even if you reach a certain fame point you still dont get the rank because realism. (most didnt get ranked in the grand navy irl, most were nobles or powerful people who got admiral or high rank)
add a weight system. your character can become fatter or skinnier. if youre fatter you get debuffs like slowness and stamina deduction. if youre skinnier your defense and block power is not gonna save you.
NPC factions will no longer just let it slide so easily if you start sinking their ships for no reason
-
Paramount bank NPCs now refuse to offer you banking services after you kill their bankers and rob their ships
-
The Grand Navy can now fine you and obliterate your renown like the magic council did if you committed crimes in WoM
-
The Assassin Syndicate can now place notoriety stars on positive renowns if you sink their ships, which cause assassins to get routed to your location constantly (you can reset notoriety by paying a grand navy member to put you under cover)
-
Sinking any island’s military ships puts the islands they watch over on alert, making an ambush appear when you enter them. They also gain the ability to see through disguises.
Yesss plsss I love slaughter ![]()
Goated idea?
I said this on a different post before but
Taking damage will now release an electric shock from your computer into your nervous system so that you feel the pain your character is currently experiencing in real life
Absolute immersion
To further increase the immersiveness, destruction physics will be made even more realistic, to the point that now, when a large explosion occurs on the screen, your PC explodes as well
Guns and all weapon grabs deal percent damage to be lore accurate
