I have oddly fair skin for how South I’m from (Guangdong province + other more Southern countries + Viet), like a lot of people thot I was Korean or plain Chinese

My grandparents originate from Fujian. They have dark skin especially my grandfather while my uncles and aunts have fair skin. My dad is quite pale as he could not play sport when he was younger.
I’m one of the darkest in my family due to swimming.
I’m the palest due to not going outside ever (I would go about a week without and only leave my house for one thing in the summer sksks)
I used to go to summer camp where we’d be outside all the time and I remember cominf back so dark to school e.e
