The lack of unique wording and proper reactions in this game

If you’ve gone through enough quests, you’ll see that the dialogue and wording in the news repeat themselves a lot. It’s still impressive that vetex managed to get in so many words, but it still doesn’t feel like enough. Also, I’m pretty sure NPC’s should react in you’re in their house or when they’re sleeping.

Obviously, vetex can’t keep thinking about new wording, but this game is far from finished. He could slowly add in new things for NPC’s to say when he has some free time. I think he should focus on quest lines and the news the most, because players read those the most, but he should still focus on other wording, still. After a decent amount of updates to wording, I hope it will be as complex as this.

Even one patch just for wording would still be ok, but I’m just one person. Let me know what you think about this.

This could be interesting. For example, talking to NPCs as a Hero rep could give the player dialogue that praises the player’s heroic achievements, while talking to them with an Unfriendly rep could cause them to be wary of the player.

You guys actually read the dialogue? I always just skip it and move on with the quest…

Ok jokes aside, I agree with this idea a lot and it will be cool to see NPCs react more to the environment around them and would give them a tad bit more life. But we do have to consider that the game just got released and that he has way more content to add before fine tuning little things such as this.

The more I focus on dialog, the slower other things will be added, so its not a priority for me to make every quest have unique lines of text for every NPC personality type
