No, this screenshot isnt old, as shown by the server version in the bottom right. I’ve finally figured out how to bypass the annoying “look in the direction that you’re facing” whenever you hold a weapon.
Basically, you start off with the weapon you want to hold in your hotbar, along with a dagger or dual dagger. Throw the dagger(s) and then switch to your weapon. Once the dagger(s) respawn on your character, then you can pan the camera around and not be constantly facing the back.
Idk if people already uncovered this and Im probably a millenia too late but still handy
