People’s behavior, worldview, and personality change pretty significantly after a decade or so. Especially if they’re young. Think to yourself 10 years ago and tell me how much he has in common with you now. Some fundamental traits may remain, but much has likely changed.
Most fortunately, this opinion is just straight up incorrect.
Now, some people really won’t change. Usually, its because of a lack of recognition of a problem. You can make yourself change if you don’t register that anything is wrong.
I don’t think I’m completely wrong here. The way I see it, the ability to change takes a strong resolve and a capability to not take into account your own pride; most people lack one or both of these. Sure, sometimes even the most stubborn person in the world will gain these two traits, even if temporarily, but that’s only in the cases of extreme screw-ups.
I also should’ve mentioned that I mainly refer to personality when talking about that; that’s entirely my fault. Worldview is definitely easy to change.
Source: I went from childlike whimsy, hoping for the equivalent of a utopia when I was a little kid, to a guy who thinks the world is completely screwed.
Mint Chocolate Chip isn’t a weird flavor.
It’s still sweet
It’s still chocolatey
all it trades off is a little less fudginess or vanilla flavor for a little bit of a refreshing minty aftertaste.
Also before anyone says, this isn’t a rag on people who dislike mint chocolate chip
i understand it might not be a flavor you like
and that’s fine
all i’m saying is that in the grand scheme it really isn’t weird
i’d argue Pistachio, Cotton Candy, or Cake Batter is weirder than Mint Chocolate Chip.
