You’ll have 200 weapon points as a lvl 100 weapon hybrid, isn’t that enough to get more than the first skill?
Katanas are pretty cool, specifically in the hands of Raiden, also known as Jack the ripper, protagonist of metal gear solid 2 and more importantly Metal Gear Rising.

They should’ve j got the big god slayer type blades and used those
a quarter of your damage is based on your level (without including power from items, which is the biggest source of damage)
…but yeah, if you dont spend any points on weapons or magic, you cant do anything other than basic blasts, slashes and shots
not including fighting styles yet because we barely got any info on them
i think calling it a rapier is easier

Dagger is fun but not something I’d use all the time
Claw is gonna be underrated yall talking too down on it its fucking nice for pve and has cool looking moves
Sword is simply good but pretty basic. Spin attack is nutty at times
Axe is fine I guess nothing impressive or baddddd maybe the throw I guess
Rapier is actually insane with the right kit since its grab is really really really good
Katana is like the pick rn because flash strike is fun and good as hell. In addition to a good projectile being flying slash
Greatsword is good for area control
Greataxe/Greathammer is a funny weapon to troll with
Hammers/morning stars when its grab never works once every full moon
Spear/Trident has a nice grab but a meh throw
Staff is a very fun weapon with a very amazing grab and a really good projectile
Shield is the definition of basic
Bow is good in the right circumstances I guess??? hard to use
Pistol is how to explain it like for pve ig
Dual pistols is also like for pve ig
Musket is if you want to be quirky with a full damage build doing HOW MUCH DAMAGE
Also Sunken swords rising tids can be angled now so thats Fun

Reliable projectile and the 2nd move is really good in PvE, sometimes in PvP if you’re smart. (it’s super susceptible to grabs but otherwise I think it’s fair).

and I would love to use them at when it comes out and see how decent can it perform, especially on my no magic run slot
just like flintlock/early revolver in real life, I’m sure it would be quite lengthy to reload
Laat question. How much better are the NPCs in AO compared to WoM? Like their AI and stuff
They’re all good in PvE but only musket is good in PvP, unless you’re an aimbotter but even then.
Better but not super better. The WoM NPCs intentionally had mediocre AI because we were low-levels, at higher levels they were gonna be better. I assume the same will apply with AO.
