you waste the entire duration of a banner trying to get the character you want
(I don’t know the chances tbh)
I’m pretty sure in some patch note they can no longer spawn white eyes
Who gave them spiralling fury 
To add to this, use attachments so they circle and don’t damage your ship (if you hit them)
If you fight them with projectiles for some reason they rush your ship. I lost 10k ship hp before I notices by spamming blast
the most stupidest thing i did was brewing 10 tier 5 bleed potion to spawn one
all of them either spawn megalodon or poison jaw
and then it spawn white eyes on me when i use tier 1 on 6th pot.
i had to use around 200 t3 
Used 16 T3, make stronger pots for bigger pity
I used like 11 t1 novas
Not as cost-efficient.
When i first spawned in to do the event a white eyes aggrod on me so I got rlly lucky
just do the other event stuff, don’t specifically go searching for white eyes/evander
they’ll eventually come to you
The most reliable way to get this egg is just to find a giant white eyes in the dark sea. Takes way less time and 0 resources to kill one.
I’ve finished them all except for #1 and the white eyes one.
I thought #1 would of been easier since it doesn’t require any killing but for some reason none of my diver titles show me where the diving spots are like how they used to.
Heck, it doesn’t even drop any of the blue maps even after I de-equip the title
A lot of people said that but I never really tried it out of fear. But I guess it’s more than likely to be the solution

it showed for me when I was in Nimbus
