I just read skyward (totally been staring at a kindle for the past 3 days) and as much as I loved it, gotta say though, aren’t spensa and jorgen a bit too similar to vin and elend, and to a lesser extent, shallan and adolin? (Actually though, a minus point according to me, compared to other brandon sanderson books, would be the lack of multiple povs.)

So like I’m late and stuff but I admit I was guilty of this at first, not for the reasons you state but still lol, and then something was said in an English lesson and having read the whole series twice I’m like “right okay that’s bullsh*t” then I talked to TeamJB1 ten minutes later and he agreed with them and explained to me exactly what I’d missed and I’m like “ohhhhhh… okay that makes sense actually”
