Think of a curse like a handgun:
Take a person who knows how to shoot a handgun, they’re dangerous! That’s a sane normal curse user.
Take a person who doesn’t know how to shoot a handgun and uses it as melee, they’re relatively meek! can still be some trouble but overall is significantly easier, that’s ormolu.

I also don’t count side-bosses as being canon, they’re just a bit too much for our level.

Honestly with how much curses are hyped, it makes no sense for Ormolu to be this weak.

With how much glaze curses get (nations are constantly warring with each other for curse power), you would think they would be more comparable to nukes. Whether you know how to use it or you are just some complete mindless bum suplexing it into the ground, that shit is going to blow up and it’s going to cause insane damage.

In gameplay, based on the one blessing and one curse user we can fight, calling a curse a handgun is giving it too much credit. It’s more like they’re a kid in a snowball fight, and that one berserker with torrent is Mark Rober pulling up with a rapid fire snowball launcher.

Also if vet made wotan a side boss he would be easy as hell, remember that ancient dragons are supposed to be unbeatable right now and people figured out how to solo that shit day 1.

Ormolu is basically only weak because he’s insanely cheeseable

Had the potential to be a cool and difficult boss fight but instead we just stand on ol’ reliable big fucking rock and blast him to kingdom come
