Visually I imagine it being a grey, with it pulsating particles of dark and light. As an actual magic, I imagine it having the speed of light but the damage of shadow, and probably exploding alot with cool effects.

Its an ancient magic, plus it would be imbalanced if it was light magic speed and shadow magic damage
Light magic is the fastest magic as of what Iāve heard, but to compensate for that it deals low damage. Shadow on the other hand is slower than light but deals a lot more damage

Iād imagine it sort of like the new effect crystal will have maybe with a DOT on top
ādestabilizedā you take more and more damage over time until eventually it builds up into a burst of damage
