Over past few months I saw like ton of dramas with people insultimg themself over the slightest, least meaningful and time worthy mechanic of the game which is clan pvp. There was a problem with ravencrest members being friends of vetex with custom magic which apparently made the game unfair for rest of the clans, I think there were at least 4 topics regarding it.
The question is, why do you even care? There is no reason for anyone to consider ravencrest an actual clan, all they do is just pvp like any other tester, contributor or moderator while also using the major game mechanic that is island building. All you guys had to do was just crossing them out ftom the leaderboard, isnt that simple enough?
Also what is wrong with custom magic users? Pvp overall is not the major part of the game and I think if someone contributes to the game enough can have somethimg for himself, yeah it is annoyimg but still the only people complaining are theese who attack and/or attempt to foght back over 20 infamy the clan has which is nothimg compared to the whole count.
Maybe all theese dramas, insults and pointless arguments could be avoided by just ignoring the situation as a whole

We have mods with magics that do absurd amounts of damage be in clans that are meant to compete in PVP(capturing islands promotes pvp as well) to progress. How does that seem fair? I wont be surprised if they keep their customs after the full release despite the pvp toggle.
Yes there is, they’re legit the #1 LB clan? And there’s evidence of them using their custom magics in ganks.
This is a dumb statement, even as a PvE player you cannot deny how vital PvP is to this game- without it it would have a much smaller playerbase. There are more PvP players online compared to PvE’rs now (unless you count people who claim they’re PvE’rs but spend all day ganking).
Oh wow guys I did not realise that was the solution- lets just not fight in the game that one of its most replayable features is its PvP.
You’re either delusional or ragebaiting- I cannot tell which it is. Mods shouldn’t have custom magics in a clan file- its as simple as that. The entire point of clans is for PvP- it used to function as a bank as well but now its sole purpose is PvP.
Tbh only good thing about clans is building, if there were some leaderboard rewards like titles then I would probably care more, in the end it all goes down to outdated and poorly made clan system that cannot support rest of the game mechanics
the big issue and complaints I see from people about raven crest was that it’s a primarily dev clan(which then shifted over to customs which have been blown well out of proportion and have had no effect on our spot on the lb, having reached number #2 before customs and infamy gained from customs making up 1000 at most(being generous with my estimate here) I also believe my good friend astral has had some poor responses in the past although to hold him to a level of civility while the other parties actively harass them isn’t entirely reasonable and I understand his prior reactions even if I believe they weren’t the best way to handle them and there was issues in regards to it.
honestly I have nothing against custom magic being in the main game as long as the people using them arent activly hunting everyone and breaking fun, would be probably cool if there was an option to use custom magic in the Elysium just for the sake of it
You see, birds aren’t real, they’re drones used by the feds to monitor us. How is this relevant? Well, it’s pretty obvious when you consider this clan’s name: Ravencrest.
Ravencrest members are feds and they accidentally reached the highest infamy as a side effect of playing the game for so long (they’re being paid for it, it’s their job), that’s what people are mad about.
Grown adults are being paid by the federal government in order to monitor AO players 24/7, preventing actual players from reaching the top spot.
Big crest doesn’t want you to know this but you can go to any island and DIG UP INFAMY! you can chart tuah all over the place and no one is capable of stopping you, it’s the real reason ravencrest got to the leaderboard as a former crester myself, and just know I was not a grass toucher before this… I fear for my aura as they might make me shower for sharing such classified info.
