I’m assuming it would be either light or poison, from the blinding or being able to create toxic clouds. I’d love to hear your thoughts on what the best magic for running a crowd control support char would be.
Crowd Control would be definitely poison because of the clouds it leaves behind
Ash would also work.
Doing a certain percentage of a targets health in a single shot using ash will fully freeze the target in place for a couple seconds. Lightning is somewhat similar but it will paralyze the target and keep them from charging/using magic and weapons, however they can still move around.
Since you need high damage to activate these effects, it makes the magic good. You will have high damage and CC.
If you wanna use a magic that has a lingering effect, try using glass. You can stack bleeds and leave shards on the floor (Or so I heard). Ash and poison also leave behind the effect, but when I added 3 or more attacks to a blast attack it wouldn’t leave behind any effects, so much for 20 bullets to spam across the battlefield.
ash has the one of, if not the weakest overall damages out of all the magics, so dont rely on getting petrification by yourself.
dont think its in yet but glass shards will do damage when you touch them. also poison clouds can get absolutely humongous if you spam 20 shot attacks.
the clouds/piles/puddles/blocks left by spells scale with ur magic size, when it comes to blocks and clouds ur spell has to be large enough to create em.
*with ash/poison blasts it actually scales with ur explosion %. so u could have a 20% size blast that leaves clouds if ur at 100% explosion or smth.
**another thing to note is that damage from clouds/puddles and whatever else doesnt scale with the power stat and is based on ur characters level. e.g: lv 60 cloud does 13 dmg/tick regardless of the size.
Ahem,
Darkness blacker than black and darker than dark,
I beseech thee, combine with my deep crimson.
The time of awakening cometh.
Justice, fallen upon the infallible boundary,
appear now as an intangible distortions!
I desire for my torrent of power a destructive force:
a destructive force without equal!
Return all creation to cinders,
and come frome the abyss!
Explosion!
