The mc can jump to inhuman heights, dodge midair, and slice so hard it sends slices through the air all without magic as of the current point of the story
you have to be decently precise with it, if the thing you use to shove the bullet it in gets knocked out your hand then good fucking luck reloading it, and that THING WILL BE KNOCKED OUT OF YOUR HAND MIDFIGHT. If the bullet falls you have to get a new one from wherever you store them, if the gunpowder falls you have to get more from wherever you got it. every step is easily interruptable and in a 5-10 second window of vulnerablity total. It is nigh impossible to reload a flintlock RUNNING let alone dashing high speed, one fumble and its simply over. dont forget this is ONE SHOT we are talking about, you have to repeatedly make yourself vulenrable midfight, whilst constantly attacked just to probably miss. Smoothbore weaponry is WAY LESS ACCURATE THAN IN GAME!
