When was AO in it's PEAK?

Specifically 95,364 players, now we received around 7,025an hour after release[1]

  1. My release time was 08:00PM ↩︎

Arcane odyssey marketing was honestly on point, it was one of the most hyped up games on the entire platform at the time

I liked the community most back then

ao :nauseated_face::face_vomiting:

dumb question but, wasnt it before dark sea update when conj could use ravenna weps? thats when i remember having my fun lol

I think it was best for the period of time one month before dark sea was added and for the month after it was added. Optimism was high, and PvP (specifically for the the month before) was comparably balanced and active with people engaging in munera pvp, and after the update, elyisums.

This is a blistering take but dragon hunting is the single most fun activity in the game without contest

Genuinely how

After like the seventh one it gets kind of old

Actual windows to damage the enemy without it getting parried + actual counters to attacks

Turns out ao pve is pretty fun when enemies are designed well

I guess it’s not as bad as I was expecting

Definitely a step up from most humanoid NPCs

I agree

old ass opinion and i haven’t touched the game in a year but again
am busy with university
and watching Gundam <3

games peak might actually be coming with the next update

This next update 1.22 has the bigger potential to be the best update. Relatability, grinding, pvp, etc all this doesn’t matter if the game runs like garbage and breaks on it self. This next update is seemingly suppose to fix this

I think the game’s peak has yet to come, especially considering the ript update.

“Dad what was Arcane Odyssey release like?”

The first year of initial release was the fucking forum purge I swear, almost everyone I liked died off then

99% of 2020 forumers got slimed out
