Who the hell is Tyche?

When we infiltrate Fort Talos, there’s a cutscene where two people are talking with each other, and there’s a moment where one of them says something about “Tyche”. Who the fuck is Tyche? Another Ravenna centurion? Or maybe another Order of Aesir’s Baron of even Highlord?

ravenna centurion dude

congratulations, you have a working brain

Is there even any information about Tyche at all, though? Like wiki?

it’s an irrelevant character, there’s no information of him besides dialogue where he’s mentioned bro

Alright, so fartman1314 is basically wrong at this point? We know nothing about Tyche, if Vetex decides to make him a relevant character he actually may be Order’s Baron or even Highlord, that’s the entire reason I posted this.

or he may be just a goofy ravenna centurion idk

also im not your bro

no my whole point is that hes a ravenna centurion added to characterize the guys talking and make them seem more human

yeah i don’t like internet losers

honestly they could be a baron considering that whenever vetex names a character or a place that will have revelance it usually means something in greek

tyche means luck in greek, but then again the world is based off of greek mythology so tyche could also just be a common name for anybody

Well it’s not 100% chance he IS a Ravenna centurion, but I see what you mean

That’s sad. Not sure what you actually mean by “Internet losers” at this point, you’re just saying it for basically no reason and it has no purpose. I’m not really an expert in this topic but am I correct that your message is straight up ragebait?

That’s what i’m talking about!

Either that or there’s a hidden point in this.
Argos likely means “Alert” (Or something else I forgot we need to look at the wiki and translation) so Tyche MAY be a second Baron because we didn’t see that much characters whose names mean something in greek (Or I just didn’t check it on the translator, idk) when Tyche, Argos, Calvus and etc. Have their names mean something at least

Edit:
Oh, an interesting theory from me…
What if there’s some kind of a connection in those names?
So, as Wiki says, Calvus (I think on Latin) means uhh… “Bald” or just taken off another name
My point is that Argos’s name means “Alert”, SO IN CASE Tyche is a second baron, (Tyche means luck as @cheems said) then I can tell Barons’ names have a special meaning in all these. They do not take the usual names of those “mortars”. They take name based on their character, action and probably their entire purpose of being in Order of Aesir, (So basically, Argos can probably be one of the sentinels of the order, or Ravenna, that is most likely) so i’m pretty sure the next barons we would meet will have names similar to “Threat”, “Danger”, “Saturation” (what) “Malignance” and etc.
Not really an interesting theory, well IT IS for me but i’m not sure what about others

keep yapping and watch as this is just a big useless nothing burger topic
dont listen to cheems he’s my little autistic brother who has no idea of what he’s saying

argos means powerful agile and shiny
also calvus literally means bald in latin.

Yea I know, Argos also means “Alert” as I said

so that’s why he was able to tell so fast someone was eavesdropping on him.

Bro how far will you go to try and be right, IT’S JUST A CENTURION, THEY ARE AND WILL ALWAYS BE FODDER :sob:

Where’d you get that information anyway?
