Everyone starts off bad before they can get good. Comparing your work to that of others’ is not a very helpful or motivating thing to do; instead you should compare yourself to who you are now vs who you were yesterday.
There’s plenty of things you need to learn to get good at something (e.g. lighting and angles in drawing), but persistent work is a better way of improving your skills than only making something once in a while.
Self-deprecation is a bad thing all around, even as a joke it’s overdone and insensitive. You really shouldn’t be calling yourself “bad” or “worst” at something. Instead you should praise yourself for what you’re good at and continue there.

I have terrible handwriting too, and I genuinely don’t care. writing is such a pain and I don’t see why we aren’t typing stuff already.
How to cope with being ass at something?
“My stat distribution on [Thing] Is lower then my other stats, I need to XP grind more then other people cuz I want to change my build”

For handwriting, mine used to be pretty toddler looking up until I started to regularly use a pen to write
for some reason the flow of the utensil completely changed up my handwriting instantly, and now I get compliments on how neat my penmanship is – sometimes things just click into place out of nowhere and it might not be you, but the medium youre using
theres tons of different mediums and styles for art, and how I’ve managed to improve mine is literally just working on my skills in my own “bubble” to prevent me from comparing my progress to others

yeah i just started getting into writing more after i got this cool fountain pen too, pretty worth the time to try out different pens and find the ones with the grip/weight/pressure/etc etc you fw. look up ergonomic pens or smtg and try finding the one that feels right with your hand
Like dude this was a three day difference (i had a journal at the time so its funny to see the immediate change)
