I’m just wondering because of the culture locked items and its kinda a bummer that I can’t use everything the game has without making a new file
no there is not a way to change cultures currently also a lot of the items are just the same items but just look diffrent
well yeah I mean for like later on, because i would like to maybe change my last name if possible
You could try trading with other cultures to get the item

In the future there will be a quiz that sorts you into a culture.
Yes, there’s going to be a quiz that sorts you into a culture, when creating a character, but will you be able to take this quiz to change your culture on a current file that already has progressed or will there be another way to change the culture of an already progressed file? It would suck if I would have to stay with my current culture once I’m already a very high level. Making a new file just to get a culture you like would kind of be a waste of time.
You will get one chance to do the quiz on each file if its started already
Okay, so if I wanted a certain culture that isn’t out yet, could I keep that one chance until it comes out and then use the chance to take the quiz for the culture when it’s released? Also, if I wanted a specific last name, will I have to select a certain answer to guarantee that I get that last name? Hopefully, there will be a list of the answers, somewhere, that you can follow to get the name you want.

really wish that would work because it almost defeats the purpose of trading
