Your wishes for TGR

Getting Regular is pretty hard. I think that everyone should be able to see #suggestions:accepted, so more hype is built up for the game.

I definitely agree everyone should be able to see them, but regular isn’t hard to get if you actively engage in the community

Don’t you have to read a decent percentage of posts, a lot of which are trading posts and reposts of guild advertisements?

I just read all the posts in a day, but if you’re actually pressed for time just scroll through the comments (I think)

Okay so, it would be nice if the auction update was merged into the revamp by doing a shop revamp, more NPC dialogue variety, most of adjustments being added would be cool, Optimizations yes, The story definitely needs a revamp and Quest spawning needs to be fixed, have like Higher level quests available for lower level but it’s in a lesser form. Some map changes like more secrets, smugglers and bandits should spawn in the hidden mountain tavern so it’s not as lonely in the world, more smugglers, better combat system, Enemy’s should get an AI revamp so they don’t high jump as much and actually feel more challenging. A mini boss in the middle of the prologue perhaps. Idk that’s all I can think of for now

I honestly would not be suprised if fish got the mute hammer rn.

I’m genuinely surprised he hasn’t yet

ngl who let john be unmuted

Uhh, my stance in the revamped tutorial is it is most definitely needed. I remember my first time playing World of Magic, and it wasn’t the best experience. Granted, this was my first rpg game. I got arrested for attacking an npc, and then left cause I got frustrated. I got back on the next day and taught myself how to play, and deal with the frustration of the MC. However, a lot of players can’t do that, which is why I believe the MC should be focused on more. I also believe that perhaps the other additions should be there too, but mainly the MC.

Also, since we are talking about new concepts, perhaps adding combining weapons. This could work with any of the same weapon, but it boosts the stats. They would go to a limit, perhaps a bit above the most damaging of their weapon type, such as the old sword being able to out power a sunken sword without any enchantments. This way, the rare weapons aren’t the only way to have power. If you can’t fish a sunken, then just combine weapons until you get near power. This does need some adjustments, but I don’t think it is a bad one if it is implemented correctly with the right restrictions.

make the magic council joinable

Honestly I wish things were more static on the map. I really wish that things such as boss spawns and bandit camps and magic council camps were just in the same place constantly. This would make help define the new players from the experts and not just make it feel nice to know where every thing is but also be convienient. Another thing you could do, vetex to still make it feel like the camps are in a random location would be to change where the locations are every friday to still make it feel like the world is ever changing. This would also make things more constant between servers so you could posibly split the map up between servers to help optimise the game but also for other reasons such as making enemies higher level between areas for more exp gain and also make the servers feel more lively and full of people. This such mechanic worked VERY well in Arcane Adventures as there were islands so the population is already condenced.

Maybe also make it so its player only and not npc…

Add an NPC that lets you buy or even make replicas of boss drops with blueprints that you get from completing storyline or a new rare type of quest. Another way to add these blueprints would be to have bossed have an 100% to drop a blueprint you have not yet gotten when defeated. Adding these blueprints could be a way to make it easier and less rng based if you dont feel like grinding for the boss drop. A downside to these blueprints is that they could have some sort of unstable magic that would make them break or be put on cooldown if used too much (similar to a shield but much more easily broken) (This wouldn’t really work for amour pieces). Another way you could make these items not break the rng aspect of the game would be to make it so that it can’t be upgraded or what I personally like more being that they can only be upgraded to 10 or 20 less levels than the actual weapon or armor piece. This could also spice up the game if you made it so certain preset enemies dropped blueprints such as the king to get his cape or crown which might add +4 to every magic stat, or if you kill enough banits (maybe like 100-150) you get a money pouch which takes a weapon or equipment slot but makes you lose less money on death. This NPC could also give you difficult quests where if you kill say 2 different players or 10 pirates or 20 bandits you would get a random blueprint.

So basically kill the thing that makes WoM unique… No

You are asking to degrade WoM.

So basically kill all low levels that live in areas with op NPCs or once again degrade WoM.

Even the AG in Arcane Adventures had NPCs. There is literally no point in this change other than making WOM worse…
