Day 19
Did a little bit of drawing today since I procrastinated. Still have problems with motivation
Just keep telling yourself you will be able to draw custom r34 one day
wm don’t get too down bad
If you think this is my worst you seriously underestimated me
Also why tf are there so many neko here
dude, you’re fucking poggers, i WILL and CAN fuck your mom if you doubt yourself
Hard love, in a nutshell
Day 20-21
After rewatching some vids I just found out that I should probably do better with my figure drawing and start drawing other things as well so yeah hopefully I’ll draw more hands and shit.
Now that’s alot of drawings
you suck at hands? like, suck as in bad?? are you on drugs or something? those are like, really cool hands and not bad hands
for tips on hands remember the palm is curved outward at the knuckle (they are not straight blocks as you’re depicting them)
also, tbh, i think you’d benefit from using references and looking at more ways to break down anatomy. the references will breathe life and dynamics into your work as currently the products come off as stiff and lifeless. yes, they are studies, however studies still should have a degree of flow to them as you should practice incorporating it in all your works for future full pieces.
i similarly recommend that you don’t force yourself to work on this stuff as studies exclusively. try to blend your newfound techniques and skills in a finished piece or even a sketch that incorporates everything you’ve worked on. it pays off and it’s a good measure of progress
this is coming from a more intuitive artist, but looking at everything here makes me feel like there’s no real progress being made (but that’s just me)
I feel the same way tbh shit id love to know how to make em more effective
are you using references?
That or tutorials ( which is basically the same thing)
hmm . . . tbh i feel as though you’re not deeply “observing” your references
idk if this was the video that mentions it, but you can look up “artist observation” and get a load of videos on the topic ranging from an hour to a few minutes
