I’m finally HOME, after being held up for pictures by an aunt and a “Jesus Loves You” truck on the traffic-jammed highway.
Honestly I think the Jesus Truck driver was drunk; matey was swerving in one lane
Anyway I made Notepads for Bisentos and Partisans. Also renamed one of the Spear’s Skills, shown on both of these.
Started working on those new Weapon Type ideas, but it’s 9:24 PM, my little sister sounds like she’s talking to herself (even though it’s probably her friend on the phone) and I can hear every word, and I just want to sleep in my own bed. In other words, I can’t think of much. If I add Halberds, there will be a non-zero chance of me “borrowing” Seismic Slash from AO.

Sorry about the lack of updates, I haven’t been as motivated recently with the rise of college stuff (and losing my wallet, seriously where the fuck is it). I got a dorm room all to myself, so I’m real happy about that; it means I don’t need to worry about sharing space with someone, which in turn means I can bring my full setup with me.
Anyway here’s a Halberds doc (Sykadelik’s favorite).
Just kidding, I don’t know what skills do add. Maybe I’ll go the route of one game I play religiously and make Halberds a clone of spears, but there’s already two of them.
Now here’s a doc for Morning Stars (one of Sock’s favorites, if I remember right), with some actual depth to it.
Those stats are a placeholder by the way.

Forgor; this isn’t a real idea, more so a joke that I thought of earlier this year. Also using a mentor to change skills will probably be replaced with going to a blacksmith.
I should’ve added a 50% chance to hit with the back two knuckles on the Punch and a 75% chance to hit with the toes on the kick, which would cause you to take 80% of your max HP in damage

Drilling Thrust - Rapidly rotate the halberd in your hands before thrusting forward towards your cursor, functions similarly to flashing thrust but exchanges startup time and distance for raw power.
Low Sweep - Swings the halberd near the ground that clears out bullets and fires out a crescent-shaped projectile. This projectile can’t clear bullets and starts out slow moving but quickly picks up speed as it gets away from the user.
Helm Splitter - After a short wind-up, swing the halberd overhead splitting any bullets hit in half and away from the user.
Stalwart Retaliation - Plant your halberd into the ground and stand firm, damage taken is reduced by 50% while this is active. Once the move ends the user will swing the halberd in front of them clearing any projectiles and send out a massive slice forwards. Damage taken during first part of the move will boost the damage and size of the aforementioned slice

Shields were born (had their doc made) in Purgatory (Unused/Unfinished Weapons), and went out of Purgatory in less than seven minutes.
Too funny to not include, but this was inspired by a SaltyDKDan stream VOD of him playing Peppa Pig: World Adventures (the one with the Queen Elizabeth memorial screen). Concerning? YES. Funny? Also yes. Might not make it out of purgatory, though; not sure about the design of it.

One-Two - Quickly punch twice towards your cursor, firing off two weak but decently fast bullets with little startup or endlag.
Wide Swing - Wildly swing in front of yourself, clearing any bullets in a curved area in front of the player, simple but very effective.
Dirt Uplift - Scrape your foot against the ground before kicking upwards, creating a cloud of debris in front of you. This doesn’t deal any damage nor clear attacks but it can be used to obscure an enemies vision.
Raging Slam - Strike the ground with your combined physical and magical strength, causing debris from the ground to fly out in random directions from you. This debris can clear bullets but will be destroyed after being hit enough.

Updated the Tutorial doc somewhat. I was originally planning for Oria (first character the player runs into, if y’all forgot or haven’t seen that post yet) to use Darkness Magic instead of Earth; that was back when I didn’t really have characters planned out. This was also when I wanted to let the Player equip five Magic Types at a time. I cut it down to three, because bullet hells already have enough difficulty, with having to find the tiniest little crack in a pattern to go through; adding having to reach for the 5 Key on top of that is just a little much.
Little anecdote, but going through my high school’s hallways last year felt like fuckin’ Touhou. Hopefully college won’t feel like that.

I’m trying to sleep and my brain keeps pumping out ideas. Small ones, but still.
Kind of want to rename Sun Magic (the Fire/Light Fusion). I was going to name it Solar, like in Elemental Battlegrounds, but silly me forgot about it when making the Fusions Chart.
Was also thinking that Star Magic would be a good name. Don’t want to use Flare, though; some red-haired girl in a Roblox game already took that.

Update: Didn’t get much; family had to use a concernin’ amount of money on a gaming laptop, since it’s required for my college classes.
Yes, a GAMING laptop for COLLEGE classes. The thing is real nice, with the design and all. Also technically got a truck bed cover today, but I say “technically” since it’s not arrived yet.
I was going to make the game concept that’s been the bulk of the posts here on my main PC, but I might just make it on the laptop now, if I can get ahold of a mouse for it
Also tried out Theme Park Tycoon 2 on Boblox again after literal years, and I ended up learning that the concept of theme parks fuels my clinical depression.
Last birthday update: You know that truck bed cover? It kind of needs an undented tailgate to work well, and mine has a bit of a dent. My grandparents ordered a new tailgate specifically for it, and it was in my house (for some reason, not sure how it got there).
Dad found it, and he’s the guy who handles the cars. He didn’t know why it was there, so what did he do?
A) Ask someone about it as any person would do
B) Leave it there
C) Throw it out while hoping it wasn’t important
C, it’s fucking C. Have y’all ever been told to not touch shit that ain’t yours when you were a little kid? That’s usually with other kids’ toys; now imagine that but with the equivalent of 300 bones.
