A Guide to Deckhand Appearances ("Driphands")

I believe that’s a merchant based on the title

I’ve added the new outfit sets’ appearances based on what I know so far along with images

you can just raised one’s loyalty to great and just changing their style and redocking the ship to collect info ( still gonna be pretty long tho )

I’ve done that with Hays, as you can see in the image examples, but yeah it’s rather tedious. I might end up doing that more later but the issue of the starting appearances remains

phew ive been needing this guide lol

Log has been updated again based on new information I’ve found

Nvm I think you did a better job than I did documenting them

Log has been updated again with more accessories and visual references

here’s a new adding to the samurai category for driphands, shown with a warlock jacket. (the goggles were added by me.)

Yeah, I found a ghost with one before when I was conducting deckhand inspection services
I added the warlock jacket already a bit ago

how do i stop all of my deckhands from randomizing equips every time i change the style of one

you cant

Best you can do is give them one accessory, the rest are random based on style

Updated the log for Nimbus update.
Changes:

Edited the introduction to make it more accurate and some of the text to make it flow better, and combined the Nov 10th update accessory changes on outfit sets with the rest
Added the bruiser set for sailor, bounty hunter, barbarian, and fighter
Added samurai helm and armor for samurai

Let me know if I missed anything

Updated: Added deluxe hunting set for archer and bruiser boots for pirate
I might add an “ideal loyalty gift” section to each outfit since that might help

Added a few new things:
The first set of outfits now has a list format for their accessories similar to the second set, in case you don’t want to read through an paragraph. This includes a starting accessories section (applies for NPCs below lv 50). It’s based on memory so let me know if there’s inaccuracies.
I also added a section to all outfits for their default stats. Basically, which possible stat and NPC of that outfit might have by default when found on an island. This is based off what I remember so, again, there could be inaccuracies. A few of the third possible stats are missing because I can’t recall them right now.
Finally, I added an idea loyalty gift section for each outfit, though I recommend swapping your deckhand to the knight or sorcerer outfit as soon as you can for easier loyalty upgrades. This is based off of the level range of the items. Remember that chestplates have higher item value than boots and accessories, and thus give more loyalty.
