I mean if we’re talking energy at it’s most basic form then it’s literally everything. The magics you listed, magma, poison, acid, water, wind, fire, I think the only possible exceptions would be things that aren’t naturally hot and don’t move.

So the energy curse not only gives you the basic uses of a normal elemental curse but also gives the attribute of infinite energy?

Poison mutation, Anthrax magic

Where do you think Mushroom/Decay magic would fit
maybe a mix of Death and Plant? Or Poison and Plant?

Decay sounds like it could fit under Acid, and Poison mostly. POSSIBLY Earth, Shadow, and Water.

I remember Shadow magic in AA having properties that almost seem like they decay organic matter, so maybe

We still have those. Mages get a second magic circle over their Blast some time before max level

No that’s just with specific casting styles, normally you only have 1 circle

Okay, my predictions for this (for most likely magics, less likely, and not likely);

Earth & wood magic (very likely): with oil being composed mostly of dead animal and plant matter mixtures being under the earth for an incredibly long time, I think it’s very likely that it’s going to be mutations of these two.

Sand magic (less likely): Only really putting this here because it could be close enough to earth to be able to get it (compared to some of the other earth related bases), but I don’t think it’s going to get it.

Shadow magic (less likely): This one is definitely going to be a stretch, but I decided I’d include it anyways. If we take shadow as it was before, being a decay and death related magic, then you could KIND of relate it to oil considering it’s made of dead materials. Aside from this, I wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t get it.

Now for magics I don’t think will get Oil.

Water, magma and acid magic: I put these here considering that they’re liquids, and since people might think oil will be with them because they’re liquids. I don’t think that just because they’re liquids they’ll get oil, because these magics hardly are related apart from being liquids.

Heat magics: Somewhat same thing related to the above, as oil is used a lot in conjunction with heat related things irl. While oil likely will have a ton of heat synergies, oil itself is NOT hot or heat related.

Tl:dr, pointing out obvious things for oil since it was mentioned by Vetex to be an ink replacement of sorts. Most likely it’s going to be an earth and wood lost mutation
