There are two types of female characters in AO.
- Estrid
- Really aggressive
Iris, Souvella, Maya (random quest giver), Caria, Maria, presumably Rear Admiral Amelia.
I always assumed it was pronounced Val-eh-rie
as opposed to the masculine Valerie
I just assume every major boss is male until proven otherwise

i doubt itād make sense for a I assume prime general would be weak ash.
Considering heās a literal general, is likely meant to be fought with multiple players, a miniboss, guards the empire from the Throne empire(Guys with curses and prob most powerful people in the seas) heās likely way strong to Kai/Merlot levels.
unless the general role of ravenna is a fraud role(gets slammed by centurions)
Maya wasnāt really aggressive, she just gave you a bit of a difficult quest.
As for the restāyeah, Iris is temperamental, but sheās a literal teenager. Thatās kinda to be expected. The rest are fairly normal women with reasonable personalities. Like, Souvellaās not really aggressive, she just doesnāt want to be bothered. Caria sends you on a slightly crazy quest, but itās not like sheās screaming at you or threatening you. Theyāre questgiver NPCs, of course theyāre gonna ask you to do something a bit hazardous.
Fair on Maya, but Caria and Souvella are known for having a past of battle, and still being more intense than all three male recurring story characters.
Thatās a rather small sample size to compare to. Especially considering that one of the people in that sample is Neviro.
