Bio is indeed still doing this as it’s the very reason why this topic was re-opened, proof of it being found in these three recent posts: N°14, N°15, N°16.
On the chance that you’re asking if Bio is still taking submissions for this however, that is still the case, but keep in mind that all fifty “guaranteed” slots have been taken already, making it so that whether or not your character is added to the statue is up to Bio[1].
My apology for this stiff response, it’s no excuse, but I don’t seem to be capable of typing in any other manner at the moment.
though in all honesty, that is still case for everyone’s submission as Bio doesn’t owe us anything ↩︎

Reawakened in the War Seas, she’s slain countless monsters, concocted efficacious serums, hired a fleet of enormous power, among many other ventures. But she’s always yearned to strive for more, working to get her mind on others, like a philosopher, or completing the entire fish bestiary, like a master angler. Her work isn’t yet finished, but what other endeavors will emerge for her?
