A Strange Encounter

Such a nice ending!!!

imagine saving the world from the most ancient threat and then proceed to destroy it right after lol

Why not?

So deep motivation - Save the world just to destroy it yourself.

Game ends with insane player looking around epicenter with idea to conquer the world

Bad endings are the best moment for starting new legendary adventure.

it would be almost impossible to justify it, but i hope it does happen

i just wanna see my beautiful boy/girl/pile of ash in all of their sparkling glory :frcryin:

i mean, PK is a savant mage (maybe warden)and warrior at once so AO MC happens to be the same level, PK wins because of moves and power overall (likely ik imbue but idk)

it’d be really funny though as like a 1 in 10000 chance

its just a cloaked figure that you get to talk to once and you never find out who he Actually is or what part he plays in the story because he never shows up again and thats it

and maybe he is the peacekeeper but no one would be able to tell for certain. just something to drive the community fucking insane for no reason

If you think about it, Savants are able to imbue their magics into anything, PK doesnt. So its likely that PK is actually a Mage, but they still have the ability to fight with weapons and fighting styles

(I mean, think about it, it’s unlikely for you to immediately forget or be unable to fight with fists or use weapons just cause you practice magic more, or make you unable to learn more abilities. Its probs just a gameplay thing in AO for builds)

Missed opportunity ngl

PK is quite literally just build different

i would say they’re a mage, but due to how much mana there are in their body they have a much easier time practicing magic stuffs, which allows them to learn fs and how to use weapons ( since they didnt have to spend as much time in magic as a normal mage would )

most likely, pretty sure we still can use them, but it like with why curse users dont use magic anymore, because why should they?

a mage who studied magic extensively have little reasons to use fs or weapon unless they absolutely have to

even if they are pushed into situation where fs/weapon would be a better choice ( for someone who know how to use them ), they’re probably good enough at magic to figure something else to work with ( snare spell for example )

Wasnt it stated by Vetex that if they use magic other than their curse, it pretty much clashes with the curse, which is why they dont use them? They don’t use magic cause they dont have a need for them, it’ll literally clash with their curse, because a Curse User is PURE MAGIC now, meaning any magic that’s different from their curse would hurt them. This is the case for Elemental Curses at least from what I can understand

depends, usually when they’re the opposite element ( fire water, light shadow for example )

think so yeah, External ones doesnt turn their users’ body, so i dont think there any reasons other than magics being severely inferior compared to a curse

i personally think that a 3 minds 2 mutations mage would only equal to an average ( maybe slightly higher ) curse user

Really? I thought this before but someone corrected me saying it was any magic…? Idk anymore

maybe it happens with any but opposite elements suffer more?

Vetex said a light curse user trying to use shadow magic would cause them extreme pain

“It will reject any other type of energy”

So yeah, its not that Curse users dont have a need for magics, they literally cant use it if they’re Elemental Curse users, unless if its the same element, maybe

Averill can use light magic

And hes the Light Curse user. Thats why I said “Unless if its the same type of element”
