the only thing i know about attack on titan are giant naked people, and people zipping around with ziplines from their hips, what’s the show like now? people seem to like it

YES, she looks cute when blushed and her character is very interesting now. 
If the AG had Anti-Magic back in the game… yikes.

My sense of humour has really nosedived
Attack on titan is an anime with epic story line. And its about titans eating humans, but in secrecy from the race being eaten y the titans. The titans are humans them selves dropped off from another race of humans called mareylens. They do this because of the eledian race past (the people with grappling hooks on their hips) they are on a mission to exterminate this race. There is a ton more lore but its a good anime
