Speaking of this would be horrible considering next update might become an agility meta due to dodge reflexes
Rushdown
thats fucking deepwoken at that point my guy
Bro getting flamed
all of these are from deepwoken or souls like games of course he would be flamed
Not everything is deepwoken i just like that idea to take someone in the air and combo them and I took idea from elden ring and sekrio
Mf JUST USE RUSHDOWN ISTG
Im the other one when someone fails a gank on me
the attack animations are like half a second why would you need to cancel them to block? also stance system is unnecessary and weapon arts are planned
If you mean ultimate arts yes, but the way they worded it on the thing basically reads out as exactly what weapon skills in game are
i like how this was also ai generated

You know to much
Hey, just a tip for your future suggestions, to help improve the quality of both your ideas and the forums!
The Tip
Write your suggestions
I’m gonna go through all of these and the ones for “sea curse imbuing” to say why I not only don’t like the ideas, but why I don’t like the idea of using chatgpt for idea making ever.
Have fun reading my great wall of text lmao
Lie
This would not mix well with AO’s combat system, which already relies quite a bit on endlags to hit anybody, this just makes battles more of a slog already with how much airstalling there is
Sprinting and dodging (presumably what the AI thinks is “rolling”) is already pretty seamless, and there isn’t anything that combos seamlessly with each other at a far because AO is a skill slinger game, and you can already integrate dodges into attacks pretty well when chasing someone.
This is literally already what the game has? Weapon skills are for the most part unique to the weapon, with only 1-2 weapons having the same skills as another class and only one at that, while the only real things are some skills being very similar to each other, like dual swords’ skills and katana’s skills, which already got more varied last update. This is a pointless idea to add because it’s already in the game.
This adds needless complications to the combat system AO has for weapons, not to mention that it doesn’t even sounds like it works considering AO combat is mostly air-based, even more so next update. You’d have a hard time convincing me that you can stance while in the air.
These ideas already show a trend of ideas that don’t work with AO and are slightly vague with their descriptions, but it gets worse with the next one.
Now moving onto the Sea Curses one, before I even start off I’m going to say that this idea DOESN’T UNDERSTAND THE LORE SIGNIFICANCE OF CURSES IN ANY FORM. Curses aren’t things able to be found willy nilly everywhere, they are limited.
There’s also another good reason to this since curses are busted as fuck in the lore. At the point in the story of Ravenna, you’ve already defeated the highest ranking General in Ravenna’s army. When you’re going to Ravenna, Julius the glass curse user COMPLETELY no-diffs you with one attack like a Pitbull named Cupcake mauling a toddler. Not to mention Morden, who likely has less understanding of his curse than Julius does is already able to go toe-to-toe with him just from how powerful this curse is.
After all that, tell me why players in game should be able to obtain this?
Continuing forward:
I like how easily you can see that he just pasted the response to the prompt afterwards, not even trying to use the AI as a helping tool for ideas and rather just pasting what it says.
This misunderstands how curses work entirely since I don’t believe that any sea monster would be guarding a curse at all. I don’t see why quests would be a good idea for it because if someone were to know the location of a sea curse, why would they want to tell someone else AND give them said curse too instead of taking it for themself? The only one that would “work” for getting curses is finding it because that’s closer to how they actually work in the lore, but I also just explained why this is a bad idea.
This is vague and explains literally nothing about how you’d Imbue it. You couldn’t have at least put a creative idea in place of this bro?
Gels exist and are a much healthier idea compared to this for weapons and also apply to every build. The one with armor just sounds like an extra stat part addition, in which case why would we need this? We already have enchantments and are getting a new modifier in the dark sea which is already pretty well designed for the game, this is just an extra layer of stats that would only be useful for huge pvp heads.
This literally just repeats #3 LMAO
This just sounds like a load of nothing? It doesn’t give any actual balancing ideas for how to balance it, and the point of “Players should need to make meaningful choices” doesn’t add anything because if you were ever even hunting for this you probably ARE anyway. It’s again another chunk of nothing.
This just adds an extra layer of annoyance to actual PvP to be real. This would fuck up tournaments (if these were even allowed in the first place ) because you’re just gonna be counter-picking stuff that’s gonna make them weaker, and they’re just gonna do the same to you.
In normal pvp this is also bad because if you’re going up against someone who has this specifically for what you use and you don’t have anything to use against it, you’re fucked.
WE LITERALLY HAVE THIS ALREADY WITH ARMOR UPGRADING AND ENCHANTMENTS. Not to mention, why in the hell would you be able to upgrade the already broken stat additions? This would not be healthy to add on along with the already unhealthy ideas shown before.
Not to mention, why add this overcomplicated system to give more effects to weapons and basically give clash stat distributions to armor when you can just make an idea for a weapon WITH the effect imbued already, like how sunken sword already has soaked in it with a unique skill, or how triasta of bronze will get charred to synergize with heat based builds along with its unique skill.
(Also when I say make an idea I mean MAKE one, not just asking ChatGPT to shit out another thing that doesn’t understand what its making.)
All in all, these suggestions not only don’t add improvements to the combat, but don’t even add anything new most of the time.
Every idea given by the AI you’ve put down has been a:
- Unhealthy additions to the PvP
- Vague and useless word pile of nothing
- Something that already exists in the game
- Useless addition that doesn’t fit both lore-wise AND gameplay-wise
If you’re going to make an idea, do it yourself. Don’t ask a robot that’s only job is to generate text to make an idea for something it cannot understand in any capacity.
You destroyed him
Nice
Tl;DR Don’t use AI to make your ideas, that should be the main takeaway from this critique
This is what took away my intrigue towards Reminders to see what has propped up. . ?
