if you keep making posts, eventually one lands and sticks and gets all the likes so it all balances out… no real negative definition to it
im sorry but i dont really see a reason to change something that isnt broken. forums have worked the way it has now for years and doesnt really need an overhaul per-se. if you want a karma system, go to the subreddit for that

its mainly people asking for build advice and posting random ao content to what ive seen. id prefer the subreddit over the wiki so i comment on posts there sometimes
Absolutely not. Reddit upvotes and downvotes encourages a mob mentality where controversial opinions are slathered in a horde of downvotes. And karma only entices people to say the same un-thought-provoking things over and over again to bolster their internet ego-points
We already are an echo chamber most of the time, lets not make it worse by design
