The quest to meet the thunder daddy
Nevermind yall are going immediately to making Zeus a daddy character
It’s what everyone remembers the gods for, Poseidon ain’t no saint either
Well there are a lot of different scenarios that could come of this, but it really depends on how they end up still alive.
I want to go for a bit of a unique case here. Cursebeard fails to actually take Mount Olympus, but he does manage to deal a critical blow to Prometheus and his forces. This allows Zeus and his forces to either just barely push Prometheus back and return the war to stalemate.
Realizing how close he’s come to defeat Zeus decides he must take bolder action in order to defeat Prometheus. He orders the gods under his command to develop more experimental curses, as many as possible, so that the humans under his command could much better turn the tide against the horde of magic wielding humans under Prometheus. The gods under Zeus also double down on spirit weapon production as well.
Once these experimental curses hit the field Prometheus’ forces really start to feel it. Just one of them could annihilate thousands of Prometheus’ followers at a time. Prometheus decides that he must double down on his gift of magic to humans and starts granting more and more magics beyond the original seven base magics. Losts and even ancients start becoming a lot more common on the battlefield.
Unfortunately it’s still not enough and while Prometheus still has a large advantage in numbers when it comes to humans assisting him he lost a lost of gods on his side from Cursebeard and as a result can’t match Zeus’ output of experimental curses even if he tried. At last he caves and grants humanity the full power of magic. The elemental curses, most importantly the grand fire curses which Prometheus grants to his most loyal and powerful followers.
Mass destruction follows suit when powerful elemental curse users, experimental curse users, mages, and oracles meet on battlefields across the world as the conflict envelops the entire planet. No where is safe as even in Mount Olympus humans have been brought up by each side in an attempt to tip the odds. Eventually the entire world is decimated and nothing is left with only the immortal gods and curse users left to fight for eternity over nothing.
This kinda stopped being a realistic scenario like pretty quickly, but I thought it was pretty entertaining to write. There’s probably something here that doesn’t exactly work with the lore, but regardless I think it’s a neat little story that’s also kinda really depressing.
Didn’t Zeus’ defeat come BEFORE Prometheus’ rule or did some lore change happen that I wasn’t aware of?
Assuming things haven’t changed then Prometheus decimated Zeus before his inevitable downfall at the hands of Arthur
No in the current version Prometheus was winning and it seemed like it was about to be over and then Cursebeard came up and fucked it all up. So Zeus and Co should be alive its not exactly clear how many Prometheus may have killed or if he just had them about to surrendered, Cursebeard just kinda comes in and kills all of them so it’s hard to tell if Prometheus killed a lot of Zeus’ gods or if it was mostly Cursebeard and friends.
What if only spirit weapons existed (no magic)
Spirit Odyssey

Same situation, but it’s Godza instead of Durza and he caused the freakture.
