Spirit Weapons
Weapons that scale on your HP. Spirit Weapons are not “physical”. Your character can customize and equip spirit weapons from their “spirit”(similar to how magic works, except instead of magic it’s a weapon). Some Spirit Weapons have special skills that take away HP, in exchange for greater power.
Almost all Spirit Weapons are obtainable through the user already having them. But others, you’d have to obtain through other means, a Spiritual Trainer.
Spirit Types
Spirit Types:
Red: Rage, applies “fire” DOT, can make you deal more damage as you take more damage.
Blue: Calm, makes the enemy deal less damage(does not stack, for some weapons), can make you take less INSANITY
White: Neutral/Positive, neutral, can make the enemy stop attacking(neutral), positive, can make the enemy increase in(either time, or amount) an affect the user has put on them, for example, DOT.(this is applicable to the user themself)
Black: Anti/Negative, anti, negates an effect by doing the opposite of what it does(can be taken to an extreme level on some weapons), negative, would make the enemy decrease in a certain stat(can be actual stats, or total HP, or anything like that)
Purple: INSANITY, slowly applies and increases Insanity on an enemy. Very powerful weapon, but it is not applicable on your SPIRIT(otherwise, you’d automatically die)
The user can choose what type of spirit they want on a weapon.
Basic Spirit Weapons
Basic Spirit Weapons
Basic Spirit Weapons wouldn’t take any HP from the user, as they are not as powerful as others. They are fully customizable, and you can apply spirits on them for a special effect. You can change the name of the weapon, the properties too, if you like, but you can’t change the skill options you have.
Spirit Weapon: Sword of Spirit
Skill Options: Ranged Attack, AOE/Grab Attack.
Spirit Weapon: Spear of Spirit
Skill Options: Impaling Throwing Attack(a range attack but if it directly hit’s the enemy it stun for 2 seconds, has decent AOE), S/weeping Grab(The user would hold their spear at the very edge, far away from the blade, and sweep it on the ground, tripping the enemy. The user can customize what happens next.)
Spirit Weapon: Shield of Spirit
Skill Options: Take 50% less damage with a skill, AOE Support(can be giving your team mates a defense buff or a HP regen buff)
Spirit Weapon: Bow of Spirit
Does not require arrows.
Skill Options: Rapid Arrow Attack, AOE Arrow Attack
Special Spirit Weapons
Special Spirit Weapons
AKA: What we’re here for!
First off, SSW’s are only obtained from Spirit Weapon mentors. I will post them as I go along. SSW’s are not customizable. Some SSW’s are more complicated than others.
Spirit Weapon: Atsali(WHITE)
A katana type Spirit Weapon. When you are around it, when you hold it, you feel almost at peace, as if you’ve already died.
Obtained from the NPC, Cajo, found in Ravenna. He will give you the Spirit ability if you can defeat 5 Villainous players.
Q: Tranquil Cleave: The user does a quick “flash-strike” like slash, however, instead of a slash, it is a cleave(believe me there is a difference). This cleave cleave’s the enemy on a spiritual and literal level. The damage dealt by this attack is unhealable, at least until either the user dies or 1 minute passes. Does not stack.
E: Serendipitous Cleave: The user sheaths their sword, and unsheathes it. If there is an enemy within the users range(maybe about the AOE of Beast Instinct?), the user will slowly appear above the enemy, swing their sword once, and walk behind them. This skill does not do any damage, instead it reduces the enemies HP to 50% of it’s maximum. Shares a cooldown with a grab.
R: Peaceful Pierce: The user pierces a “shot” like ranged attack forward. The enemy will stand still for 2 seconds if it directly hits. This move is “instant”.
Spirit Weapon: Klevo(BLACK, PURPLE)
A weapon? It looks identical to a book and pen.
Klevo is a spirit side-weapon. You can use it in conjunction to other weapons.
Obtained from the NPC, Kleftis, found in The Forest of Cerumno. If you want to obtain his ability, you have to spend 2 minutes in the Dark Sea(if possible), and return to him without dying. Trust me, it’s worth it.
M3: Pen Throw: As the name suggests, you toss your pen at your enemy, dealing bleed damage.
Q: Klevo RTS(return to sender): Deal damage to the enemy. If the enemy sends an attack at you, and it actually deals damage, the attack will “return to sender”, and do the opposite of what it was supposed to do: Attack YOU. The attack is auto aim, but can be blocked by the sender. However, blocking in this game is a horrible idea, so they’re better off running for cover. If it was a placed explosion, oh well.
E: Klevo Sanity: Land an attack with Pen Throw. Your enemy will slowly take insanity damage. The Klevo Sanity can be applied on multiple opponents.
R: Opposite Day: Press and hold m3 to be taken to a top down view of your current area. Press M3 twice while the top down is still there. This will create a domain in which “Opposite Day” can be used. Simply put, the enemies controls will be randomized. All skills a guaranteed to be placed somewhere else. As for other keys, S to move forward, W to move backward, A to move right, D to move left. Dashing will take you in the opposite direction, too. Enemies in this domain will slowly take increased insanity damage.
Spirit Weapon: Ina(RED)
A Spear Type spirit weapon. It is hot to the touch.
Obtained from the NPC, Irin. She will give you her ability if you can prove your will. Kill a white eyes.
Q: Apex Weapon: The user throws Ina. Wherever the spear lands, it will create a DOT zone, which increases in range every 30 seconds.
E: Ina Charm: The user swings flourishes their spear, and does a “flash-strike” like PIERCE. Has 2x range of Dual Swords. Applies DOT.
R: Spirit Railgun: The user jumps into the air, and charges spirit energy into the tip of their weapon, and releases the energy forward. The longer the charge, the more damage and AOE. You can charge for a maximum of 15 seconds. Can deal up to 500 damage. Does not scale on how much power you have more so how much defense you have.
These are simple examples.
